Yes, we hate writing them. Yes, they’re required.

The links on this page take you to posts/articles about writing a book blurb or synopsis. The difference between the two types of summaries is that a blurb is typically for a reader and a synopsis for an editor or agent. Some use the terms interchangeably, so I’ve got links to both here.
